Our football match prediction:
SD Eibar will be visiting the Camp Nou Stadium for a confrontation with Barcelona in the 9th round of the Primera Division. So far Eibar is performing above expectation. The Armeros are currently placed 7th on the table which, at the end of the season, could be rewarded with a ticket to the Europa League. Eibar got only beaten once in the Primera Division against Atletico Madrid. Barcelona on the other hand had to travel to Belarus for a Champions League with BATE Borisov. The Champions League champion won the game easily 0-2. Barcelona is currently the number 3 in the Primera Division. Barcelona in it's current won't have a lot trouble with Eibar. It will be interesting to see how Neymar will perform after 2 spectaculair games without Lionel Messi.
Highlighted Player (Jordi Alba):
Jordi Alba is yet another product of Barcelona’s youth academy La Masia. The pacey full back, though, started playing for Valencia at senior level and after making 74 league appearances for los Che he returned to Barcelona in 2012. He signed a five-year deal with Barca on 28 June, 2012 and he made his debut for the Catalan giants on 19 August in a 5-1 win over Real Sociedad. Alba won his third La Liga title with Barca in 2016 and it has to be noted that he participated in a 3-1 win over Juventus in the 2014/2015 Champions League final. The left-footed defender made his Spain debut on 11 October, 2011 and one year later he won the European Championship trophy with la Furia Roja. He scored in the final against Italy. Jordi Alba has four caps for Spain U21 team and he played for Catalonia as well. The left back was born in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat on 21 March, 1989.

The likes of Hristo Stoichkov, Romario, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Johan Cruyff, Diego Maradona and Pep Guardiola are some of many players that played for Barca in the past, but, no doubt, Leo Messi has established himself as the club’s trademark. Barcelona welcome their rivals at Camp Nou, the stadium that was built in 1957. Barcelona’s local rivals are Espanyol, but the rivalry between Barca and Real Madrid is much bigger. The two La Liga giants face each other in “El Clasico”, which is considered one of the most exciting derbies in the world football. Barca are famous for their football youth school La Masia as well.
