Our football match prediction:
A win over Malaga would help Barcelona get level on points with Real Madrid in the La Liga standings, but, against all odds, the title holders were beaten by los Boquerones at Estadio La Rosaleda. Luis Enrique’s men are desperate to return to winning ways in the Spanish top flight and we predict that they will go all guns blazing at Real Sociedad on Matchday 32. Barca have been impressive at their Camp Nou this season and it has to be noted that they are eyeing their ninth consecutive win at home in La Liga. Leo Messi failed to impress against Malaga, but the opposition defenders should have him at bay. Real Sociedad have been producing fine performances in the Spanish elite division this term and they are still in the race for a place in European competitions. However, considering that they failed to score in previous two away games in the league, the visitors are unlikely to spoil Barcelona’s party in Saturday’s football match at Camp Nou.
Highlighted Player (Andre Gomes):
Andre Filipe Tavares Gomes is a Portuguese footballer who represented the likes of Porto, Boavista and Benfica during his youth career, but eventually signed a professional deal with the Eagles. Even if he hadn’t made too many first team appearances for the Portuguese giants, the midfielder saw his economic rights sold to a private company in January 2014, and the deal eventually saw him join Spanish giants Valencia. The attacking midfielder immediately nailed down a regular starting berth at Mestalla, proving his undoubted potential, and catching the eye of top Italian sides such as Juventus and Napoli. Gomes has yet to establish himself as an important player for the Portugal national team, but he has made several appearances under Fernando Santos and is expected to play a key role for the Selecao in the future. Possessing impressive technical skills and capable of covering a number of positions in midfield, Gomes is a modern midfielder who has been showing incredible maturity for his age, so no wonder he is predicted a bright future in the game.
