Our match prediction:
As expected, Celta Vigo were hammered by Barcelona at the weekend (1-6), but you should bear in mind that key player Fabian Orellana and Nolito both missed the Camp Nou clash. The Chilean winger, though, returns to contention and given that Celta’s next rivals Eibar are not regarded as good travelers, there is every chance Os Celeste will put an end to their five-game winless run in all competitions. Los Armeros were more than fortunate not to drop to Segunda Division at the end of the last season, but the Basque outfit have been producing thrilling performances in the 2015/2016 La Liga campaign. Thanks to a 2-0 win over Levante Eibar put an end to their three-match losing run in the national championship, but given that a win is a must for Celta Vigo, we are tempted to put our money on Eduardo Berizzo’s troops this time out. Taking everything into account, our prediction is a hard-fought home win.
