Our football match prediction:
Thanks to a hard-fought win over Sporting Gijon Deportivo La Coruna put an end to their eight-game winless run in La Liga. The Galicians returned to winning ways in the national championship, but they will have to be at their sharpest in the season finale if they are to secure yet another top flight survival. Deportivo welcome Real Betis at their Estadio Municipal de Riazor in Wednesday’s postponed fixture and a win over los Beticos would see them escape the danger zone in the La Liga standings. Los Beticos produced a fine display in Friday’s football match against Real Sociedad, but they eventually suffered a 3-2 loss to the Basque outfit. Victor Sanchez’s men face Real Madrid at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on Matchday 27 and, no doubt, they will leave their hearts on the field in the relegation six-pointer against Deportivo. Taking everything into account, we predict that the two teams will share the spoils in the midweek fixture.
