Our match prediction:
Friday’s match at Estadio Municipal de Ipurua sees two out-of-form teams Eibar and Las Palmas take on each other on Matchday 26. Eibar suffered four defeats in previous five league games and they are desperate to put an end to the negative trend. Las Palmas, on the other hand, produced a fine display in Saturday’s game against league leaders Barcelona, but they missed a number of clear-cut opportunities to score and eventually suffered a 2-1 loss to Luis Enrique’s troops. Los Amarillos are on a three-match losing run in the national championship and given that they sit in the relegation zone at the moment, this has to go down as a must-win game for the visitors. However, los Armeros are tough to beat at home and, taking everything into account, we predict that the two teams will share the spoils in Friday’s La Liga game.
