Our football match prediction:
It has been somewhat surprisingly positive start to the new season for Eibar. Basque side began their campaign with a 2-1 loss at Deportivo La Coruna, but Los Armeros have since then notched back-to-back victories which put them in sixth place in the standings, only one point behind their next rivals. Eibar will have been particularly motivated by their 2-1 win over Granada last time out. Jose Luis Mendilibar’s men have grabbed three points despite being a man down for an entire hour after goalkeeper Asier Riesgo was sent off in the 32nd minute. Sevilla travel to Eibar on the back of a goalless draw at Juventus, which is considered a successful result against Serie A champions. It was a turbulent start to the season for Jorge Sampaoli, who managed to steady the ship following opening UEFA Super Cup and Spanish Super Cup defeats to Real Madrid and Barcelona, respectively. Unbeaten in their last four matches, Rojiblancos will be eager to record another positive result at Eibar but we predict their trip to Ipurua Municipar Stadium will not a walk in the park.
