Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Villarreal outclassed Celta Vigo (5-0) on Matchday 8 and they came from behind to beat Las Palmas in their last league match. Nigerian attacker Bakambu scored a late winner for the Yellow Submarine in the 2-1 triumph over los Amarillos and he helped Marcelino’s troops stay in the race for the title. Villarreal are just two points behind league leaders Real Madrid in the La Liga standings and they are high on confidence ahead of the trip to the Basque Country. The Yellows face Eibar at Estadio Municipal de Ipurua and considering that los Armeros experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-3 draw with Espanyol, we predict that the visitors are going to extend their winning run in the Spanish elite division. When the two teams met at “Ipurua” earlier in 2016 Villarreal recorded a 2-1 win over Eibar, with the likes of Soldado and Adrian scoring for the Camp el Madrigal outfit.
Highlighted Player (Gonzalo Escalante):
Gonzalo Escalante is an Argentine footballer who plays for Eibar in Spanish La Liga. Escalante made his senior debut for Boca Juniors, coming as a substitute in a 6-1 loss to San Martin de San Juan. On 29 January Escalante signed a permanent deal with the Sicilian outfit and he played 26 games for the club in the 2015/2016 campaign. At the end of the season he joined La Liga team Eibar on loan and he made his debut for los Armeros on 24 August against Granada. He managed to find his net on his debut and six months later he signed a permanent deal with the club.
His contract with Eibar expires on 30 June, 2020. His main position is central midfield, but he is capable of playing as a defensive midfielder as well.
