Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
RCDE Stadium will host Sunday’s football game between Espanyol and Levante. Los Periquitos aim to bounce back from a 2-1 loss to Deportivo Alaves and they are considered favourites to win the game against Los Levantinos. The Catalan outfit did well to beat star-studded Valencia 2-0 in their first home game of the season, which is certainly giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of Levante. Paco Lopez’s men managed to hold their bitter local rivals Valencia to a 2-2 draw in their last league fixture, but seeing that Espanyol have turned their RCDE Stadium into a real fortress, we are tempted to put our money on the Catalans. A man to watch in the home side will be Granero, who found the net in the 2-0 win over Valencia. Taking everything into account, home win should be considered as los Periquitos produce much better showings at home than on the travels.

Highlighted Player (Hernan Perez):

Hernan Perez is a 27-year-old Paraguayan winger who plays for Spanish club RCD Espanyol in Spanish La Liga. Perez was a late bloomer having built up his career for two different youth clubs before finding his feet with Tacuary.
He made his top division debut in 2007 with them and was subsequently signed by fellow league side Club Libertad. But a serious right knee injury limited his game time at Libertad where he rarely appeared for the capital club. Perez’s redemption came at Spanish club Villareal in 2009 where he quickly established himself in the main squad.
Last year, he joined Espanyol and started showing glimpses of his skills. Perez was one of the best players for Paraguayan under-20 team at the 2009 South American Championship helping them finish in second place. His full senior debut came in the next year when he was selected to the 2011 Copa America. So far, Perez has won 26 caps.
