Our football match prediction:
Espanyol will be aiming to escape the relegation zone with a win over Villarreal on day 7 of the new Bundesliga campaign. Los Periquitos suffered a 2-0 loss to Espanyol at the weekend, but it has to be noted that Os Celeste scored two goals in the stoppage time. The Catalan side aim to return to winning ways in the national championship, but Sunday’s football match against Villarreal will be anything but a walk in the park for the hosts. The Yellows kicked off the new La Liga campaign in style and they have yet to suffer a loss in the national championship this season. However, considering that Espanyol are tough to beat at home, we are not tempted to put our money on the Yellow Submarine this time out. In their last meeting in La Liga the two teams played out a 2-2 draw and we predict that they will share the spoils in Sunday’s clash at RCDE Stadium.
