Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Getafe will be aiming to keep their third consecutive clean sheet in La Liga when they take on Girona at Estadi Municipal de Montilivi on Monday evening. The capital club sit in the top half of the table and they have been playing above expectations in the first half of the season. Los Azulones, though, produce much better performance at home than on the travels and that is the main reason why away win should not be considered. The Catalan side suffered a dip in form and they are on a three-game winless run in the national championship ahead of the visit of Getafe. Girona are likely to stick to their attacking style of play in Monday’s football match and given los Azulones’ poor away record, we predict the hosts will return to winning ways in the Spanish elite division. When the two teams met at “Montilivi” in Segunda Division last term Girona hammered Getafe 5-1.
