Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Las Palmas are running down as blind alley ahead of Saturday’s football match against Girona. Los Amarillos suffered a 2-1 loss to Eibar in front of home fans at the weekend, with the team extending their winless run in La Liga to four games. The rock-bottom team are desperate to grab something from the Girona clash, but seeing that they are low on confidence at the moment, away win should not be considered. The Catalans, on the other hand, aim to bounce back from a 2-1 loss to Valencia and a win over Las Palmas could see them climb to the top half of the La Liga standings. The newcomers have been struggling on the travels of late, but they are a real force to be reckoned with at home and given Las Palmas’ poor form, there is a big value in betting on Pablo Machin’s men this time out.
Highlighted Player (Gorka Iraizoz):
Gorka Iraizoz is a goalkeeper who plays for La Liga side Athletic Bilbao. Iraizoz was born in Pamplona on 6 March, 1981 and he is 191 cm tall. The Athletic Bilbao shoot-stopper started his senior career at Basconia, playing 20 matches for the club between 1999 and 2000. He played for La Liga side Espanyol in the past as well, but on 7 August, 2007 he signed for Athletic Bilbao. Iraizoz made a right decision when he joined the Basque outfit as he participated in the 2011/2012 Europa League final. However, he did not win the trophy with the Lions as Atletico Madrid rolled over Athletic Bilbao in the title game. He made it to the Copa del Rey final on three occasions with Athletic Bilbao, but he failed to win the Spanish Cup trophy with the Basque team. Gorka Iraizoz made six appearances for the Basque Country, but he has yet to make his Spain debut.
Highlighted Team (Las Palmas):

The stadium was opened in 2003 and it’s current capacity is 32,150. Miguel Angel Ramirez is the club’s chairman and the club’s main rivals are Tenerife. Las Palmas impressed in the 2015/2016 La Liga campaign, with the team finishing the season in 11th place in the standings. However, it has to be noted that los Amarillos finished the 1968/1969 Primera Division campaign in second place in the table, 11 points behind Spanish giants Real Madrid. Speaking of Copa del Rey, Las Palmas made it to the final of the Spanish Cup in 1978. Las Palmas eliminated Sporting Gijon in the semis (5-3), but Barcelona outplayed los Amarillos in the title game (3-1).
