Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Real Valladolid will be looking to impress on their return to La Liga when they square off against Girona at Estadi Municipal de Montilivi. La Pucela played their last game in the Spanish top flight four years ago and, no doubt, they are hungry to enjoy some top-class football. Real Valladolid suffered a 1-0 loss to Nurnberg in their final warm-up game and seeing that their rivals Girona were impressive at home ground last term, we do not believe that there is a big value in betting on the visitors. The Catalans want to continue where they left last term and seeing that they were scoring goals for fun in pre-season, we believe that there is a big value in betting on Eusebio Sacristan’s troops. A man to watch in the home team will be experienced attacker Cristhian Stuani, who scored 21 goals in the Spanish top flight last term.
