Our football match prediction:
Barcelona quickly bounced back from a 2-1 loss to Deportivo La Coruna, with the team beating ten-man Valencia at their Camp Nou in their last league fixture. Barca managed to keep their hopes of defending their La Liga trophy alive, but they need to keep on winning if they are to finish the season in top position in the standings. Luis Enrique’s troops face yet another must-win situation against Granada and we predict that the visitors will go all guns blazing at the relegation-threatened team. Los Granadinos are seven points behind the “safe zone” and seeing that the hosts head into Sunday’s football game with the lack of confidence, we are not tempted to put our money on the underdogs this time out. It has to be noted that the Andalusian outfit are on a three-game losing run in La Liga ahead of the visit of Barcelona and they are unlikely to put an end to the negative trend.
Highlighted Player (Javi Marquez):
Javi Marquez is a professional football player who was born in Barcelona on 11 May, 1986. The Spanish midfielder started his youth career at his home-town club Espanyol and he continued playing for los Periquitos at senior level. He made his La Liga debut on 19 September, 2009 in a 3-2 win over Deportivo La Coruna. Three months later Marquez scored his first goal for Espanyol in the Spanish top flight as he found the net for the Catalan outfit in a 2-0 victory over Almeria. In March 2010 Javi Marquez broke his leg, but he recovered in time for the start of the 2010/2011 La Liga campaign. After playing 53 games for Espanyol, the midfielder joined Mallorca in 2010, but he made no more than 25 appearances for the club. After ending his loan spell with Elche, he joined Granada in the summer of 2014 and he has been playing for the Andalusian side ever since. Javi Marquez has a contract with Granada which expires in June, 2017.
Highlighted Team (Barcelona):
Barcelona are a Spanish football club based in Barcelona, Catalonia. Barca were founded in 1899 and they are regarded as one of the greatest clubs in world football. The Catalan giants won their 24th La Liga title in 2016, with Luis Suarez winning “El Pichichi” award. Barcelona have won five European Cup trophies and a number of top-class players were part of the team in the past. The likes of Hristo Stoichkov, Romario, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Johan Cruyff, Diego Maradona and Pep Guardiola are some of many players that played for Barca in the past, but, no doubt, Leo Messi has established himself as the club’s trademark. Barcelona welcome their rivals at Camp Nou, the stadium that was built in 1957. Barcelona’s local rivals are Espanyol, but the rivalry between Barca and Real Madrid is much bigger. The two La Liga giants face each other in “El Clasico”, which is considered one of the most exciting derbies in the world football. Barca are famous for their football youth school La Masia as well.
