Our match prediction:
After escorting Espanyol home with six goals in their net, Los Merengues are coming to Andalusia expecting to end their negative trend on the road. Namely, Real Madrid boast a 0-2-2 record in their last four away fixtures in all competitions and are eager to start winning. Zinedine Zidane’s charges have been scoring for fun of late, Ronaldo, Benzema and Bale have been toying with opposition defenders and it is quite obvious that los Blancos are absolute favorites in the forthcoming game. Granada have been having their ups and downs at Los Cármenes this season, they will struggle to avoid relegation, but it does not seem realistic that José Ramón Sandoval’s men should look for points in the game against Real Madrid, especially if we add the fact that los Merengues won eight of their previous nine encounters. However, los Nazaríes proved to be worthy opponents more than once, so we do not predict los Blancos to run ragged, but, we are ready to back an away win.

Real Madrid are a Spanish football club based in Madrid. Real Madrid participate in La Liga (Primera Division) and they have won 32 domestic titles. On the other hand, los Blancos have won 11 European Cup titles and that is the main reason why they are considered the biggest football club in the world. Real Madrid play their home matches at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu and the capacity of the stadium is 84,454. Cristiano Ronaldo is the club’s most successful footballer in the 21st century and the Portuguese superstar has won two Golden Ball awards. The likes of Alfredo Di Stefano, Zinedine Zidane, Raul Gonzalez Blanco, David Beckham and Iker Casillas are star players who were part of the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu outfit in the past. Real Madrid’s bitterest rivals are Barcelona, but the rivalry between local rivals Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid is big as well.
