Our football match prediction:
Las Palmas came from three goals behind to share the spoils with Celta Vigo at the weekend (3-3). Los Amarillos showed character in the draw against Os Celeste and they will be looking to put an end to their six-match winless run in the league when they host Eibar at their Estadio de Gran Canaria on Saturday evening. Las Palmas are a real force to be reckoned with at home and we predict that in-form midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng is going to pose a big threat for the opposition defenders. Eibar recorded a come-from behind 2-1 win over Villarreal at the weekend, but los Armeros are not regarded as good travellers and they are unlikely to grab something from Saturday’s football match. In previous three meetings between the two teams in all competitions Las Palmas emerged triumphant and los Amarillos are widely expected to extend their winning run against Eibar.
Highligted Player (Sergio Araujo):
Sergio Araujo was born in Buenos Aires on 28 January, 1992 and, as expected, he started playing for his home-town club Boca Juniors. He made just 19 appearances for Boca in the league and he played for the likes of Barcelona B, Tigre and Las Palmas on loan in the past as well. The Argentine attacker scored 25 goals in 43 appearances for los Amarillos in the 2014/2015 Segunda Division campaign and despite the fact that he was linked with a move to Celtic and Real Sociedad, the club owners managed to sign a permanent deal with the former Boca Juniors footballer. Araujo has three caps for Argentina U23 team and he represented la Albiceleste at the 2009 FIFA U17 World Cup. It has to be noted that he scored the winner for Argentina in the opening match of the tournament against Honduras. Araujo scored six goals in eight appearances for the Argentina U17 team. The pacey attacker has a contract with Las Palmas which expires on 30 June, 2020.
