Our football match prediction:
Many people expected that Leganes would be struggling in La Liga this season, but the newcomers have been producing fine performances in the Spanish top flight. Asier Garitano’s men are eager to beat the odds and to secure the elite division survival, but they are on a very difficult quest. Leganes did well to share the spoils with Las Palmas at Estadio de Gran Canaria at the weekend, but they are just three points clear of the relegation zone ahead of the visit of Eibar. Los Armeros sit in eighth position in the La Liga standings, but they failed to impress in a goalless draw with Alaves at the weekend. It is well known that Eibar often struggle on the travels, meaning that a low-scoring affair appears on the cards. Leganes have improved defensively and, taking everything into account, we predict that the two teams will play out a goalless draw in Sunday’s football match.

After impressing with Leganes in the 2013/2014 campaign, the club chiefs decided to sign a permanent deal with the Argentine centre back.
