Our football match prediction:
Despite being regarded as big underdogs in Saturday’s football game against Sevilla, Leganes did well to hold the title-chasing team to a 1-1 draw. The newcomers are six points clear of bottom three ahead of the relegation six-pointer against Malaga and considering that only point separate the two teams in the La Liga standings, a close encounter appears on the cards. Los Boquerones are desperate to bounce back from a 2-1 loss to Deportivo Alaves and it remains to be seen if they are capable of putting an end to their four-match losing run in the Spanish top flight. Malaga emerged triumphant in each of their last three meetings with Leganes in all competitions, but the Andalusians have been playing below expectations of late and the visitors should be happy with one point from Sunday’s encounter. Taking everything into account, the two teams are likely to play out a draw at Estadio Municipal de Butarque.
