Our football match prediction:
Estadio Municipal de Butarque will host Tuesday’s football match between Leganes and Valencia. The newcomers suffered a heavy 3-0 loss to Espanyol at the weekend and you should bear in mind that they recorded only one win in last six league fixtures. Leganes are only four points clear of the relegation zone ahead of the visit of Villarreal and, no doubt, they would be happy with one point from the match. The Yellows suffered a shocking 2-0 loss to Deportivo Alaves at the weekend and it seems as if playing on three fronts is the team’s biggest problem. Villarreal are eager to start a new winning run in La Liga and seeing that coach Fran Escriba has almost a full squad to choose from, we predict that the visitors are going to pick up all three points from the match. Brazilian striker Pato is likely to lead the line for the Yellow Submarine against Leganes.
Highlighted Player (Gabriel Pires):
Gabriel Appelt Pires is a Brazilian footballer who play for Leganes in Spanish La Liga. Pires is a product of Vasco da Gama’s youth school, but he made his senior debut at Resende. After spending several seasons on loan at Pro Vercelli, Spezia, Pescara and Livorno he signed a loan deal with Leganes for the 2015/2016 Segunda Division campaign. The 183-cm-tall midfielder scored seven goals in 37 appearances for Leganes in the Spanish second tier and, as a result, the club chiefs decided to sign a permanent deal with him. Gabriel is an attacking midfielder, but he is capable of playing as a central midfielder as well. His brother Guilherme is a football player as well. Gabriel is a left-footed player, while his brother prefers playing with his right foot. They were born in Resende, Brazil.
