Our match prediction:
Estadio La Rosaleda will host Sunday’s game between Malaga and Real Madrid. Los Blancos are seven points behind league leaders Barcelona in La Liga standings, meaning that this has to go down as a must-win game for the visitors. Zinedine Zidane’s men recorded a 4-2 win over Athletic Bilbao at the weekend and they did well to beat Roma (2-0) in the Champions League last 16 stage clash at Stadio Olimpico. Cristiano Ronaldo has been in a fine form of late and the team’s top scorer is likely to prove a handful for the opposition defenders. Malaga suffered a 1-0 loss to Villarreal at the weekend and given that Real Madrid do not suit los Boquerones, there is every chance los Blancos will pick up all three points from Sunday’s game. Taking everything into account, we predict that Zinedine Zidane’s charges will extend their winning run in La Liga to four matches.
