Our match prediction:
Valencia will be aiming to bounce back from a heavy 3-0 loss to Athletic Bilbao when they take on Malaga at Estadio La Rosaleda. Los Boquerones produced a fine performance in a 1-1 draw with Real Sociedad and they are definitely capable of making life difficult for los Che. Javi Gracia’s men did well to play out a 1-1 draw with Real Madrid in their last home fixture and, no doubt, the visitors will have a mountain to climb in Wednesday’s league clash if they are to return to winning ways. Gary Neville’s men have been having their ups and downs of late and considering that they recorded only one win in previous seven away fixtures, we are not tempted to put my money on the away team this time out. Malaga have been in a fine form of late and we predict that they will record their sixth home win of the season on Matchday 27.
