Our football match prediction:
Osasuna and Malaga take on each other at Estadio El Sadar in the opening match of day 20. Los Rojillos produced a fine display against Sevilla at the weekend, but they eventually suffered a 4-3 loss to Jorge Sampaoli’s troops in front of home fans. The rock-bottom team are nine points behind the safe zone in the La Liga standings, meaning that they face a must-win situation in Friday’s football match against Malaga. Los Boquerones, on the other hand, failed to spoil Real Madrid’s party at Estadio Santiago Bernbabeu, with the team extending their losing run to five games in all competitions. Both teams are desperate to return to winning ways in the national championship and we predict that over 2.5 goals will be scored in the Estadio El Sadar clash. The two teams played out a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture and we would not be surprised if they share the spoils on Friday evening as well.
Highlighted Player (Roberto Torres):
After scoring 23 goals in 132 appearances for Osasuna B, Roberto Torres made his first-team debut on 11 December 2011. He came as a substitute in a 1-1 draw with Malaga, but he played no more than two league games for los Rojillos in the 2011/2012 La Liga campaign. However, he was making progress year by year and he made 42 appearances for Osasuna in the 2015/2016 Segunda Division campaign. Roberto Torres is one of the players who helped the team secure promotion to Primera Division and it has to be noted that the midfielder scored 12 goals in the 2015/2016 season. Roberto Torres’ contract with Osasuna expires in 2018. The 178-cm-tall player was born in Pamplona, on 7 March, 1989. His main position is attacking midfielder, but he is capable of playing as a central midfielder as well. He scored his first goal in Primera Division in a 2-4 loss to Real Madrid in the 2012/2013 campaign.
