Our football match prediction:
Deportivo Alaves are enjoying a very successful season and they will be looking to claim yet another major scalp when they face league leaders Real Madrid at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on Matchday 29. The newcomers did well to beat Real Sociedad in their last league match and the fact that they defeated Barcelona at Camp Nou in the first half of the season is giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the trip to Madrid. However, beating los Blancos in the Spanish capital is easier said than done and we predict that Zinedine Zidane’s troops will fight tooth and nail in Sunday’s football match. Real Madrid are only two points clear of second-placed Barcelona in the La Liga standings and there is every chance the French tactician is going to field the best possible side against Deportivo Alaves. Cristiano Ronaldo helped Portugal defeated Hungary and he is likely to prove a handful for the opposition defenders.
Highlighted Player (Karim Benzema):
Striker Karim Benzema came through his youth club Bron Terraillon in Olympique Lyon were he went through all the youth teams. On January 15, 2005 Benzema made his debut for the first team of Lyon that season but did not have much playing time. In the 2007-2008 season he was indeed a permanent fixture in the team and he got his break . He grew that season right into a crowd favorite and clubs like Arsenal, Juventus, Manchester United, Real Madrid and AC Milan showed interest in him.Benzema in 2008 (like 2005, 2006, and 2007) was in the champions with Olympique Lyon and had no interest in leaving France. In 2008, Karim was named best French footballer.
Highlighted Team (Alaves):
Alaves are a Spanish football club located in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Alava. The club were founded in 1921 and they play their home games at Estadio Mendizorrotza. The capacity of the stadium is 19,840 and it has to be noted that it is the third oldest stadium in Spanish football. After spending several years in the Spanish Segunda Division, los Babazorros returned to the top flight in 2016. The colour of Alaves’ home kit is blue and white and the club’s local rivals are fellow Basque sides Real Sociedad, Athletic Club, Osasuna and Eibar. Alaves made it to the UEFA CUP final in 2001, but they were beaten by Liverpool 5-4 in a thrilling football clash. Anyhow, that is still regarded as the club’s biggest success. Los Babazorros booked their place in the Copa del Rey quarter-finals on four occasions and they have yet to win the Primera Division trophy.
