Our football match prediction:
All eyes will be on Estadio Santiago Bernabeu when Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid face each other in “El Madrileno”. Zinedine Zidane rested his key players against Leganes, but Alvaro Morata and James Rodriguez helped the league leaders pick up all three points from the match (4-2). Morata scored a hat-trick against Leganes and we predict that the former Juventus attacker is going to lead the line for the hosts against Atletico Madrid. Real Madrid are desperate to regain the La Liga trophy and a win over fellow capital club would definitely help them move one step closer to meeting the goal. Los Rojiblancos, on the other hand, are on a five-game winning run in the league, but they will have a big fish to fry in Saturday’s football match. Zinedine Zidane is likely to field the best possible side in the Madrid derby and, taking everything into account, home win should be considered.
Highlighted Player (Benzema):
Striker Karim Benzema came through his youth club Bron Terraillon in Olympique Lyon were he went through all the youth teams. On January 15, 2005 Benzema made his debut for the first team of Lyon that season but did not have much playing time. In the 2007-2008 season he was indeed a permanent fixture in the team and he got his break . He grew that season right into a crowd favorite and clubs like Arsenal, Juventus, Manchester United, Real Madrid and AC Milan showed interest in him.Benzema in 2008 (like 2005, 2006, and 2007) was in the champions with Olympique Lyon and had no interest in leaving France. In 2008, Karim was named best French footballer.
Highlighted Team (Atletico Madrid):
Atletico Madrid are a Spanish team that plays in Primera Division (La Liga). Los Rojiblancos or los Colchoneros play their home matches at Estadio Vicente Calderon, which holds up to 54,960 spectators. Atletico Madrid have won 10 La Liga titles, but they have yet to lift the European Cup (Champions League) trophy. Los Rojblancos have won 10 Copa del Rey (Spanish Cup) trophies and it has to be noted that they defeated their bitter local rivals Real Madrid in the 2012/2013 Spanish Cup final. The rivalry between the two capital clubs is pretty big and El Madrileno is regarded as one of the most exciting derbies in the world football. Atletico Madrid played two Champions League finals under Diego Simeone, but they failed to beat Real Madrid in the title games (2013/2014 and 2015/2016). However, the Argentine tactician helped Atletico Madrid win the La Liga trophy in 2014 and, no doubt, he is one of the most successful coaches in the history of the capital club.
