Our football match prediction:
Thanks to a 3-1 win over Barcelona at Camp Nou Real Madrid moved one step closer to winning their tenth Spanish Super Cup trophy. Los Blancos proved their worth in the first leg and they are now on a quest to get the job done in the two-legged tie against Barca. Cristiano Ronaldo came as a substitute and scored for Real Madrid in the victory over Luis Enrique’s troops, but the Portuguese superstar is banned for the return leg after he was sent off at Camp Nou. Barca obviously struggle without Brazilian ace Neymar and we predict that the pacey winger is going to be sorely missed in the 2017/2018 season. Zinedine Zidane’s troops are brimming with confidence ahead of Wednesday’s football match and they are likely to record yet another win over their fiercest rivals. The Catalan giants are likely go all-out attack against Real Madrid this time out, meaning that the hosts should have a number of opportunities to score on the break.
Highlighted Player (Sergio Ramos):
Over the years Sergio Ramos has established himself as one of the best defenders in the world. The Spanish footballer was born in Camas on 30 March, 1986 and he is a product of Sevilla’s youth academy. He made 39 league appearances for Sevilla and he played 26 games for the reserve team as well from 2003 to 2005. In the summer of 2005 Sergio Ramos signed a deal with Real Madrid for a fee of €27 million and it has to be noted that he made 33 appearances for the capital club in the 2005/2006 La Liga campaign. The 183-cm-tall full back is capable of playing as a right back as well and, as a result, he often scores for Real Madrid. Sergio Ramos helped Real Madrid win two Champions League trophies (2013/2014, 2015/2016) and he has three La Liga titles with los Blancos. The Spanish defender won the 2010 FIFA World Cup with la Furia Roja, while clinching Euro 2008 and 2010 titles with the Spanish national team as well.
Highlighted Team (Barcelona):
Barcelona are a Spanish football club based in Barcelona, Catalonia. Barca were founded in 1899 and they are regarded as one of the greatest clubs in world football. The Catalan giants won their 24th La Liga title in 2016, with Luis Suarez winning “El Pichichi” award. Barcelona have won five European Cup trophies and a number of top-class players were part of the team in the past. The likes of Hristo Stoichkov, Romario, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Johan Cruyff, Diego Maradona and Pep Guardiola are some of many players that played for Barca in the past, but, no doubt, Leo Messi has established himself as the club’s trademark. Barcelona welcome their rivals at Camp Nou, the stadium that was built in 1957. Barcelona’s local rivals are Espanyol, but the rivalry between Barca and Real Madrid is much bigger. The two La Liga giants face each other in “El Clasico”, which is considered one of the most exciting derbies in the world football. Barca are famous for their football youth school La Masia as well.
