Our football match prediction:
After dropping two points in a 2-2 draw with Celta Vigo, Real Madrid will be aiming to record their first league win of the year when they welcome Villarreal at their Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. Los Blancos are determined to stay in the race for the title and this has to go down as a must-win game for the reigning champions. Zinedine Zidane’s men are likely to go all guns blazing at the Yellow Submarine and Gareth Bale, who scored a brace against Celta, should pose a big threat for the opposition defenders. Villarreal failed to impress in a 1-1 draw with Deportivo La Coruna at the weekend and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Real Madrid’s party at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. Los Blancos are a real force to be reckoned with at home and it has to be noted that they recorded five wins in previous six home games in the Spanish elite division.
Highlighted Player (Sergio Ramos):
Over the years Sergio Ramos has established himself as one of the best defenders in the world. The Spanish footballer was born in Camas on 30 March, 1986 and he is a product of Sevilla’s youth academy. He made 39 league appearances for Sevilla and he played 26 games for the reserve team as well from 2003 to 2005. In the summer of 2005 Sergio Ramos signed a deal with Real Madrid for a fee of €27 million and it has to be noted that he made 33 appearances for the capital club in the 2005/2006 La Liga campaign. The 183-cm-tall full back is capable of playing as a right back as well and, as a result, he often scores for Real Madrid. Sergio Ramos helped Real Madrid win two Champions League trophies (2013/2014, 2015/2016) and he has three La Liga titles with los Blancos. The Spanish defender won the 2010 FIFA World Cup with la Furia Roja, while clinching Euro 2008 and 2010 titles with the Spanish national team as well.
