Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
There will be fireworks when Real Sociedad and Athletic Club face each other at Estadio Municipal de Anoeta on Matchday 22. Real Sociedad have been producing fine performances in La Liga in 2019, with the team climbing the standings week by week. La Real did well to come from behind and beat Espanyol in previous home game in the national championship, which is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the Basque derby. Athletic Club have been in a fine form of late, meaning that a close encounter is on the cards in San Sebastian. The two teams seem to be evenly matched at the moment and, taking everything into account, we believe that there is a big value in betting on draw. A man to watch in the home team will be former Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj, whilst Real Sociedad defenders should have Inaki Williams at bay.

Asier Illarramendi is a product of Real Sociedad’s youth school. He played for Real Sociedad B between 2008 and 2011, scoring 7 goals in 93 appearances for the Basque outfit and he made his first team debut on 23 January, 2011 in a 2-1 defeat to Villarreal. After impressing with Real Sociedad in the 2012/2013 Primera Division campaign, Real Madrid chiefs decided to sign him on 12 July, 2013 for a fee of €32.2 million. Back then that was the highest amount paid by the club for a Spanish footballer, but he failed to impress at Real Madrid.
After spending two seasons at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, Asier Illarramendi returns to Real Sociedad on 26 August, 2015 and he has been playing for the Anoeta outfit ever since. Asier Illarramendi scored one goal in 33 appearances for La Real in the 2015/2016 La Liga campaign.
The talented midfielder has 16 caps for Spain U21 and it has to be noted that he represented La Furia Roja at the 2013 UEFA European Championship.
Highlighted Team (Athletic Bilbao):

Athletic Club (mostly known as Athletic de Bilbao) is a Spanish football club from the Bask region which is playing currently in the Primera Division. The club from Bilbao is playing in the highest Spanish division since its founded in 1928 and is next to Real Madrid and FC Barcelona for a longest period of time in the Primera Division. Athletic de Bilbao used to play until 2012 in the San Mames stadium (also known as La Catedral).
Since 2013 the club is playing in anew stadium. Athletic Bilbao is known for its rivalry with Real Madrid. Atletico Madrid was founded by Bask students in Madrid. The old relationship between both teams is visible in the red blue jerseys of both teams.
The second team Athletic de Bilbao is playing in the Segunda Division B in Spain. Athletic Bilbao won the Primera Division 8 times, the Copa del Rey 24 times, the Spanish super cup 2 times. Athletic de Bilbao didn’t won any prizes in Europe yet but managed to be the runner up in 1977 and 2012 in the UEFA cup.
