Our football match prediction:
All eyes will be on Estadio Municipal de Anoeta when Real Sociedad and Athletic Bilbao face each other in the Basque derby. La Real head into Sunday’s football game following a 3-2 win at Real Betis and a win over fellow Basque outfit could see them regain their spot in top four. Eusebio Sacristan is doing a great job with Real Sociedad and seeing that Athletic Bilbao top scorer Aritz Aduriz is likely to miss the local derby with injury, we predict that the hosts will extend their winning run in the national championship. The Lions are a real force to be reckoned with at home, but their showings on the travels leave a lot to be desired and they are unlikely to grab something from Sunday’s showdown in San Sebastian. Experienced midfielder Xabi Prieto scored a brace in the 3-2 win over Real Betis, meaning that the opposition defenders should have him at bay.
Highlighted Player (Diego Reyes):
Diego Antonio Reyes is a young 23-year-old Mexico centre back who plays for Spanish club Real Sociedad on loan from Porto. The defender has often been described as intelligent in his positioning and strong in the air. He is considered to be a natural ball-playing defender who is comfortable in possession. Although he is primarily a defender, Reyes has played as a defensive midfielder too. He made his professional debut with Club America in 2010 starting as a midfielder but quickly moving into his more naturally suited central defender role. He was quickly snapped up by Porto in 2013 although his playing time at the Portuguese club was limited. Reyes has played for Mexico at various national youth team levels including the gold-medal winning under-23 squad at the 2012 London Olympics. He was called up to the senior team in 2011 and has already participated in Confederations Cup and FIFA World Cup.

Athletic Club (mostly known as Athletic de Bilbao) is a Spanish football club from the Bask region which is playing currently in the Primera Division. The club from Bilbao is playing in the highest Spanish division since its founded in 1928 and is next to Real Madrid and FC Barcelona for a longest period of time in the Primera Division. Athletic de Bilbao used to play until 2012 in the San Mames stadium (also known as La Catedral). Since 2013 the club is playing in anew stadium. Athletic Bilbao is known for it’s rilvalry with Real Madrid. Atletico Madrid was founded by Bask students in Madrid. The old relationship between both teams is visible in the red blue jerseys of both teams. The second team Athletic de Bilbao is playing in the Segunda Division B in Spain. Athletic Bilbao won the Primera Division 8 times, the Copa del Rey 24 times, the Spanish super cup 2 times. Athletic de Bilbao didn’t won any prizes in Europe yet but managed to be the runner up in 1977 and 2012 in the UEFA cup.
