Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Real Sociedad and Barcelona face each other at Estadio Municipal de Anoeta in what is expected to be a real football festival. The Basques aim to bounce back from a 2-1 loss to Eibar in the local derby, but grabbing something from Saturday’s football match against the high-flying Catalans is easier said than done. Barca aim to build on a thrilling 8-2 win over Huesca, where Leo Messi scored a brace, but the game against la Real will be anything but a walk in the park for the title holders. Anyhow, a lively contest is on the cards and seeing that Ernesto Valverde’s men broke the spell in their last meeting in San Sebastian, we predict that the visitors are going to emerge triumphant in Saturday’s showdown. When the two teams met at “Anoeta” last time out Luis Suarez scored two goals, meaning that the hosts should have him at bay.

Highlighted Player (Asier Illarramendi):

Asier Illarramendi is a product of Real Sociedad’s youth school. He played for Real Sociedad B between 2008 and 2011, scoring 7 goals in 93 appearances for the Basque outfit and he made his first team debut on 23 January, 2011 in a 2-1 defeat to Villarreal. After impressing with Real Sociedad in the 2012/2013 Primera Division campaign, Real Madrid chiefs decided to sign him on 12 July, 2013 for a fee of €32.2 million. Back then that was the highest amount paid by the club for a Spanish footballer, but he failed to impress at Real Madrid.
After spending two seasons at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, Asier Illarramendi returns to Real Sociedad on 26 August, 2015 and he has been playing for the Anoeta outfit ever since. Asier Illarramendi scored one goal in 33 appearances for La Real in the 2015/2016 La Liga campaign.
The talented midfielder has 16 caps for Spain U21 and it has to be noted that he represented La Furia Roja at the 2013 UEFA European Championship.
Highlighted Team (Barcelona):

Barcelona is a Spanish football club based in Barcelona, Catalonia. Barca were founded in 1899 and they are regarded as one of the greatest clubs in world football. The Catalan giants won their 24th La Liga title in 2016, with Luis Suarez winning “El Pichichi” award. Barcelona have won five European Cup trophies and a number of top-class players were part of the team in the past.
The likes of Hristo Stoichkov, Romario, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Johan Cruyff, Diego Maradona and Pep Guardiola are some of many players that played for Barca in the past, but, no doubt, Leo Messi has established himself as the club’s trademark. Barcelona welcome their rivals at Camp Nou, the stadium that was built in 1957.
Barcelona’s local rivals are Espanyol, but the rivalry between Barca and Real Madrid is much bigger. The two La Liga giants face each other in “El Clasico”, which is considered one of the most exciting derbies in the world football. Barca are famous for their football youth school La Masia as well.
