Our football match prediction:
Real Sociedad have been producing terrific displays at home in the first half of the season, but the team suffered a heavy 4-0 loss to Sevilla in their last game at their Estadio Municipal de Anoeta. La Real take on Celta Vigo in the Galician derby on Matchday 19 and a win over Os Celeste would help the hosts keep their hopes of booking their place in the Champions League alive. Eusebio Sacristan’s charges have already recorded five wins at home so far this term and we predict that Real Sociedad will find the net in Sunday’s football match. Celta Vigo, on the other hand, recorded a hard-fought win over ten-man Alaves in front of home fans at the weekend, but given that they have registered only one triumph on the road this season, we are tempted to put our money on Willian Jose and his teammates this time out.
Highlighted Player (Diego Reyes):
Diego Antonio Reyes is a young 23-year-old Mexico centre back who plays for Spanish club Real Sociedad on loan from Porto. The defender has often been described as intelligent in his positioning and strong in the air. He is considered to be a natural ball-playing defender who is comfortable in possession. Although he is primarily a defender, Reyes has played as a defensive midfielder too. He made his professional debut with Club America in 2010 starting as a midfielder but quickly moving into his more naturally suited central defender role. He was quickly snapped up by Porto in 2013 although his playing time at the Portuguese club was limited. Reyes has played for Mexico at various national youth team levels including the gold-medal winning under-23 squad at the 2012 London Olympics. He was called up to the senior team in 2011 and has already participated in Confederations Cup and FIFA World Cup.
