Our match prediction:
High-flying Real Sociedad will be aiming to extend their winning streak to five matches when they take on Malaga in the closing match of Saturday’s program. The Basque outfit have been impressive under Eusebio Sacristan and it has to be noted that they fully deserved to pick up all three points from Saturday’s local derby against Athletic Bilbao. La Real head into the match full of confidence and they are likely to defeat Malaga, who are not regarded as good travelers. Los Boquerones did remarkably well to share the spoils with Real Madrid at their Estadio La Rosaleda at the weekend, but only after Cristiano Ronaldo had missed a chance to double Real’s lead from the penalty spot. Real Sociedad managed to keep a clean sheet in each of their last three league games and that is one of the reasons why we predict that the visitors will return home empty-handed.
