Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Sunday’s football game at Estadio Municipal de Anoeta pits together Real Sociedad and Real Valladolid, the two teams who have different ambitions for the 2018/2019 La Liga season. La Real are eyeing a place in European competitions, whilst La Pucela aim to secure the La Liga survival. The Basques head into the match following a 1-0 loss to Real Betis, but the fact that they outplayed Celta Vigo in their last home fixture, is surely giving fans a reason for optimism. Real Valladolid, on the other hand, are on a five-game winless run in the Spanish elite division and they experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 4-2 loss to Leganes at the weekend. Over the years Real Sociedad have turned their Estadio Municipal de Anoeta into a real fortress and we predict that they are going to prove their worth on the field.

Asier Illarramendi is a product of Real Sociedad’s youth school. He played for Real Sociedad B between 2008 and 2011, scoring 7 goals in 93 appearances for the Basque outfit and he made his first team debut on 23 January, 2011 in a 2-1 defeat to Villarreal. After spending two seasons at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, Asier Illarramendi returns to Real Sociedad on 26 August, 2015 and he has been playing for the Anoeta outfit ever since. Asier Illarramendi scored one goal in 33 appearances for La Real in the 2015/2016 La Liga campaign.
The talented midfielder has 16 caps for Spain U21 and it has to be noted that he represented La Furia Roja at the 2013 UEFA European Championship.

Founded in 1928, Real Valladolid play their home matches at Jose Zorilla, the venue that has the capacity 26,512.
