Our football match prediction:
As expected, Sevilla recorded a hard-fought 2-0 win over relegation-threatened Granada in the Andalusian derby. Los Sevillanos are eager to secure automatic qualification for the Champions League group stages, but they are three points behind third-placed Atletico Madrid in the La Liga standings. Jorge Sampaoli’s men are after their third straight win at home in the Spanish elite division, but Thursday’s football match against Celta Vigo will be anything but a walk in the park for the hosts. Thanks to a win over Genk in the two-legged tie the Galician team set up a meeting with Premier League giants Manchester United in the Europa League semis, but, against all odds, they suffered a shocking 1-0 loss to Real Betis in their last league game. Celta have nothing to play for in the season finale and we predict that they will return home empty-handed from Thursday’s game against Sevilla.
