Our football match prediction:
Sporting Gijon did well to hold Sevilla to a goalless draw at Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan on Matchday 30. Los Rojiblancos, though, need to return to winning ways as soon as possible if they are to secure the elite division survival and, no doubt, Wednesday’s football game against Malaga is of big importance for the hosts. Sporting Gijon are five points behind the “safe zone” and we predict that they will go all guns blazing at Malaga at their Estadio Municipal El Molinon. Los Boquerones suffered five defeats in previous six league fixtures and they are low on confidence ahead of the trip to Gijon. The Andalusian outfit have been slipping down the standings week by week and, taking everything into account, home win should be considered. It has to be noted that Rubi’s men recorded a 3-1 win over Granada in their last home fixture in the Spanish top flight.
