Our football match prediction:
Despite recording a 1-0 win over Eibar at the weekend, Sporting Gijon failed to secure the La Liga survival. Los Rojiblancos will compete in Segunda Division next season and, no doubt, the club chiefs need to reinforce the squad in the summer transfer window if they are to secure a quick return to the Spanish top flight. Sporting Gijon are eyeing their third consecutive win in the national championship and they are definitely capable of beating los Beticos at home ground on the last day of the season. The Andalusian outfit did well to share the spoils with Atletico Madrid at the weekend and they will be looking to give fans yet another reason for celebration when they face Sporting Gijon at Estadio Municipal el Molinon. However, the hosts, want to make amends for the unsuccessful campaign and we predict that they will emerge triumphant in Saturday’s football game.
