Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
After dropping two points in a goalless draw with Real Sociedad at the weekend, Valencia will be looking to return to winning ways in La Liga when they host Espanyol at their Estadio de Mestalla. Valencia have been in a fine form in 2019 and, as a result, they rejoined the race for a place in the Champions League. Los Che are eyeing their third consecutive clean sheet at home in the Spanish top flight and seeing that los Periquitos are not regarded as good travelers, we are tempted to put our money on Rodrigo and Co. Espanyol did well to beat Rayo Vallecano in front of home fans to move away from the danger zone, but we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Valencia’s party at Estadio de Mestalla as Marcelino’s men are eager to represent Spain in the elite competition next term.
