Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
After playing out a goalless draw with Athletic Club at San Mames Barria at the weekend, Valencia will be looking to return to winning ways in La Liga when they welcome Girona at their Estadio de Mestalla. Los Che are determined to return to winning ways in La Liga, but the Catalans should not be written off just yet. Rodrigo has yet to find his best form, but, no doubt, Saturday’s football match against Girona could be the turning point for him and his teammates. The Catalan side did well to beat Rayo Vallecano at home at the weekend, but seeing that Valencia are desperate to get back on course, we do not believe that there is a big value in betting on the visitors. In their last meeting at Estadio de Mestalla los Che defeated Girona 2-1 and we believe that the history is going to repeat itself.

Ezequiel Garay is an Argentine defender who plays for Russian side Zenit Saint Petersburg. Garay was born on 10 October, 1986 in Rosario, Argentina and he began his senior career at his hometown club Newell’s Old Boys. After making 14 league appearances for the Argentine outfit, Garay moved to Spain in 2005, signing a deal with Racing Santander.
Real Madrid scouts quickly spotted the Argentine defender and on 18 May, 2008 he joined the Spanish giants. Garay made 31 league appearances for Real Madrid and in 2011 he signed a contract with Benfica. He played for the Eagles from 2011 to 2014 and then he moved to Zenit Saint Petersburg. In the 2016 summer transfer window he returned to La Liga, signing a deal with Valencia.
Speaking of his international career, Garay was part of Argentine U-20 team that won the FIFA World Cup in Netherlands. The Argentine footballer made his debut for the national team on 22 August, 2007 in a 2-1 loss to Norway.
Highlighted Team (Girona):

After several unsuccessful attempts, finally secured promotion to Primera Division at the end of the 2016/2017 season. The Catalan outfit finished the campaign in second place in the standings, 14 points behind Levante and only two clear of third-placed Getafe. Girona play their home games at Montilivi and the capacity of the venue is 9.286.
Speaking of the club history, Girona were founded in the café Norat in La Rambla of Girona on July 23, 1930 and they played their first official game against Colonia Artigas. A number of Spanish coaches were in charge of the team in the past, but it has to be noted that Uruguayan tactician Dagoberto Moll (1965/1966) and Karoly Plattko (1948/1949) of Hungary were in charge of the club as well.
The Catalan team wear white shirts with red stripes when playing at home, while the colour of their shorts is blue. The team’s away kits are blue and black and Sporting Gijon are considered one of Girona’s fiercest rivals.
