Our football match prediction:
Following back-to-back wins over the likes of Athletic Bilbao and Real Madrid, Valencia suffered a 2-1 loss to Deportivo Alaves in their last league fixture. Los Che took the lead in Saturday’s football game, but the newcomers battled back and eventually picked up all three points from the match. Valencia welcome Leganes at their Estadio de Mestalla on Matchday 25 and we predict that they will start a new winning run in the national championship. Voro’s men are eyeing their third consecutive win at home in the Spanish top flight and they are likely to beat Leganes in front of home fans. Asier Garitano’s team did well to crush Deportivo La Coruna in the relegation six-pointer at the weekend, but considering that their away record is anything but good, the visitors are likely to return home empty-handed. In Santi Mina’s absence, Simone Zaza is widely expected to lead the line for the hosts against Leganes.
Highlighted Player (Aymen Abdennour):
Aymen Abdennour is a professional football player who was born on 6 August, 1989 in Sousse, Tunisia. Abdennour started his youth career at Etoile du Sahel and he continued playing for the senior team. After making 33 league appearances for the club, the powerful centre-back joined Toulouse in 201 and he played for les Pitchouns until 2014. In 2014 he signed a loan deal with Monaco and the club chiefs soon made the deal permanent. Aymen Abdennour played for les Rouges et Blancs in the 2014/2015 Ligue 1 campaign and at the end of the season he moved to Spain, signing a five-year deal with Valencia. Abdennour was the captain of the Tunisia under 21 team in the past and nowadays he plays regularly for the senior team. He scored his first goal for Tunisia in a 5-0 win over Chad in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on 5 June, 2011. Abdennour is a centre back, but he can be used as a full back as well.
Highlighted Team (Leganes):
Leganes are a Spanish football club that have mostly been playing in lower leagues. Los Pepineros play their home games at Batarque (Madrid) and the capacity of the stadium is just 8,138. Leganes secured their promotion to the Spanish La Liga for the first time ever in 2016 and, no doubt, that is considered the club’s biggest success. Leganes’ bitterest rivals are fellow capital club Getafe and there have always been fireworks when the two teams take on each other in the South Madrid derby. The colour of the team’s home kit is white and blue, whilst their away kits are green. The likes of Pierre Webo, Samuel Eto’o, Ivan Zarandona, Jose Chamot, Catanha, Ruben Falcon, Jordi Lardin and Pedro Lago are famous players who were part of the Batarque outfit in the past. Lady Maria Victoria Pavon is the first female president in the history of the club and she has been in charge of the club since 2009.
