Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Real Valladolid have been struggling in front of goal at the start of the season. La Pucela have yet to find the net in the 2018/2019 La Liga campaign, but Sunday’s football game against Deportivo Alaves could be the turning point for the newcomers. Real Valladolid are determined to record their first win of the season, but they will have to be at their sharpest on Matchday 4 if they are to give fans something to cheer about. Alaves, on the other hand, proved their worth in a 2-1 win over Espanyol and they are definitely capable of grabbing something from Sunday’s clash against La Pucela. Seeing that Real Valladolid are tough to beat at home, we predict that the two sides are going to share the spoils at Estadio Municipal Jose Zorilla. It has to be noted that two teams meet in La Liga for the first time since 2003.

Highlighted Player (Jordi Masip):

Jordi Masip is yet another La Masia product. Masip began his youth career at Mercantil, but in 2004 he joined the famous Barcelona football academy. The 180-cm-tall goalkeeper was struggling to establish himself as a first-team regular in Barcelona at senior level, but he played for Barca B in Segunda Division from 2008 to 2014.
After making 79 appearances for Barcelona B, Jordi Masip finally made his senior debut for the Catalan giants on December 16, 2014 in a 8-1 win over Huesca. The two teams faced in Copa del Rey and it has to be noted that Masip made his La liga debut for Barca in a 2-2 draw with Deportivo La Coruna in May, 2014.
In 2017 the Spanish shot-stopper born in Sabadell signed a three-year deal with Real Valladolid. Masip quickly established himself as a first-team regular at La Pucela and you should know that he managed to keep 11 clean sheets in 42 appearances for the club in the 2017/2018 Segunda Division campaign.
Highlighted Team (Alaves):

Alaves is a Spanish football club located in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Alava. The club were founded in 1921 and they play their home games at Estadio Mendizorrotza. The capacity of the stadium is 19,840 and it has to be noted that it is the third oldest stadium in Spanish football. After spending several years in the Spanish Segunda Division, los Babazorros returned to the top flight in 2016.
The color of Alaves’ home kit is blue and white and the club’s local rivals are fellow Basque sides Real Sociedad, Athletic Club, Osasuna and Eibar. Alaves made it to the UEFA CUP final in 2001, but they were beaten by Liverpool 5-4 in a thrilling football clash. Anyhow, that is still regarded as the club’s biggest success. Los Babazorros booked their place in the Copa del Rey quarter-finals on four occasions and they have yet to win the Primera Division trophy.
