Our football match prediction:
Villarreal did remarkably well to make amends for back-to-back defeats to the likes of Las Palmas and Eibar, with the team beating Real Betis at Estadio Benito Villamarin on Matchday 30. The Yellows retained fifth position in the La Liga standings and they will be looking to move one step closer to booking their place in European competitions with a win over Athletic Bilbao. The Lions recorded a routine 2-0 win over Espanyol in midweek, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry in Friday’s football match against Villarreal. Seeing that only one point separates the two teams in the La Liga standings, a close encounter appears on the cards and we predict that the two teams are going to share the spoils at Estadio de la Ceramica. It has to be noted that under 2.5 goals have been netted in each of their last three meetings in all competitions.
