Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Estadio de la Ceramica will host Friday’s football game between Villarreal and Girona. The Yellows suffered a 2-1 loss to Real Sociedad in their first home game of the season and, no doubt, they are eager to give fans some cheer. Villarreal chiefs did well to persuade Santi Cazorla to return to the club and all eyes will be on the former Arsenal midfielder when the two sides face each other at Estadio de la Ceramica. Girona, on the other hand, are eyeing their first win of the season and we predict that they are going to adopt an attack-minded approach in Friday’s clash. A lively contest is on the cards and we believe that there is a big value in betting on both teams to score. You should bear in mind that 10 goals in total were scored in previous three meetings between the two sides.

Highlighted Player (Carlos Bacca):

One of the most talented strikers of this generation, the 29-year-old Carlos Bacca began his senior professional career at Atletico Junior. He caught attention with his exploits and ended up as top scorer in the league in 2010. Bacca signed with Club Brigge in 2012 where he was the league’s top scorer in the only full season he played for them.
It was his move to Spanish club Sevilla that brought the best out of Bacca. The striker was an integral part of the team that won the UEFA Europa league in his first two years with the club. Having been courted by many top sides across the world, Bacca signed with Serie A side Milan in 2015 for a reported fee of €30 million.
Bacca is well known for his pace and aggression which has won him 27 caps and 11 goals on international duty with Colombia, since 2012.
Highlighted Team (Girona):

After several unsuccessful attempts, finally secured promotion to Primera Division at the end of the 2016/2017 season. The Catalan outfit finished the campaign in second place in the standings, 14 points behind Levante and only two clear of third-placed Getafe. Girona play their home games at Montilivi and the capacity of the venue is 9.286.
Speaking of the club history, Girona were founded in the café Norat in La Rambla of Girona on July 23, 1930 and they played their first official game against Colonia Artigas. A number of Spanish coaches were in charge of the team in the past, but it has to be noted that Uruguayan tactician Dagoberto Moll (1965/1966) and Karoly Plattko (1948/1949) of Hungary were in charge of the club as well.
The Catalan team wear white shirts with red stripes when playing at home, while the colour of their shorts is blue. The team’s away kits are blue and black and Sporting Gijon are considered one of Girona’s fiercest rivals.
