Our football match prediction:
Estadio de la Ceramica will host Tuesday's football match between Villarreal and Leganes. Villarreal did well to hold Sevilla to a 2-2 draw at Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, but it has to be noted that they are on a three-game winless run in La Liga. Javi Calleja's men are eyeing a place in European competitions, meaning that this game is of big importance for the hosts. The capital club, on the other hand, recorded a hard-fought 1-0 win over Celta Vigo in their last league fixture, with the team making amends for back-to-back losses to the likes of Valencia and Barcelona. The Yellow Submarine are a real force to be reckoned with at home and seeing that Leganes often struggle on the travels, we predict Javi Calleja's men are going to pick up all three points from the midweek fixture as they want this win more than the visitors.

Highlighted Player (Roberto Soriano):
Born in Darmstadt, Germany on February 8, 1991 Roberto Soriano started his career at the youth team of Bayern Munich at the age of 15. In 2009 he moved to Sampdoria and he made his senior debut for La Samp on October 5, 2011, but it has to be noted that he played for Empoli on loan in the 2010/2011 season. The prolific midfielder scored 18 goals in 136 appearances in the league for Sampdoria before joining Villarreal in the summer of 2016. Roberto Soriano signed a five-year contract with the Yellow Submarine on August 2, 2016 and he has been playing for the La Liga side ever since. The 182-cm-tall footballer impressed in the 2016/2017 Primera Division campaign as he scored ten goals in the process, while providing seven assists for his teammates. Roberto Soriano has a dual citizenship (Germany/Italy), but he decided to represent the Azzurri on the international stage. He made his debut for the Italy national football team in November, 2014 against Croatia.

Highlighted Team (Leganes):

Leganes are a Spanish football club that have mostly been playing in lower leagues. Los Pepineros play their home games at Batarque (Madrid) and the capacity of the stadium is just 8,138. Leganes secured their promotion to the Spanish La Liga for the first time ever in 2016 and, no doubt, that is considered the club’s biggest success. Leganes’ bitterest rivals are fellow capital club Getafe and there have always been fireworks when the two teams take on each other in the South Madrid derby. The colour of the team’s home kit is white and blue, whilst their away kits are green. The likes of Pierre Webo, Samuel Eto’o, Ivan Zarandona, Jose Chamot, Catanha, Ruben Falcon, Jordi Lardin and Pedro Lago are famous players who were part of the Batarque outfit in the past. Lady Maria Victoria Pavon is the first female president in the history of the club and she has been in charge of the club since 2009.
