Our football match prediction:
Making their sixth successive Champions League semi-final appearance, Real Madrid will want to improve the record that saw them win just one of those ties, and they appear to be positioned well to see off Manchester City and remain in the hunt for their 11th title. Los Blancos have some doubts over the fitness of Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema, but with Gareth Bale in excellent form, they should be just fine even if the star duo misses out. Real Madrid played out a goalless draw at Etihad Stadium in the first leg, but having won 12 of last 13 games at Santiago Bernabeu, they can be trusted to pip Man City to a place in the final. The Citizens managed to surpass pre season predictions by reaching the last four, but they don’t seem to have the quality to go all the way, and with David Silva and possibly Yaya Toure missing, and Vincent Kompany still far from the desired form, we don’t think they can make life difficult for Real Madrid.
Highligted Player (Ronaldo):
Cristiano Ronaldo is considered one of the world’s best football players. The Portuguese ace was born on 5 February, 1985 in Funchal, Madeira and he played for the likes of Andorinha, Nacional and Sporting during his youth career. CR7 made his Sporting debut in Primeira Liga on 7 October, 2002, scoring two goals in a 3-0 win over Moreirense. Manchester United scouts spotted him and one year later he joined the Old Trafford outfit. Ronaldo became the most expensive teenager in the history of the Premier League and he received the number 7 shirt. He quickly established himself as the team’s key player and it has to be noted that he won three consecutive Premier League trophies with the Red Devils (2006/2007, 2007/2008, 2008/2009). In 2008 he helped the Old Trafford outfit beat Chelsea in the Champions League final, scoring for Alex Ferguson’s troops in the regular time. Ronaldo joined Real Madrid in 2009 and he helped the Spanish giants with two Champions League trophies. In 2016 he won the European Championship trophy with Portugal. The Real Madrid ace has two Golden Ball awards (2013, 2014).
Highlighted Team (Manchester City):

Manchester City won two Premier League trophies under Roberto Mancini and Manuel Pellegrini (2011/2012 and 2013/2014), butboth managers eventually paid the price for some disappointing results. Man City play their home games at the Etihad Stadium and the stadium capacity is 55,097. Manchester United are regarded as Manchester City’s biggest rivals and the likes of Kun Aguero, Carlos Tevez, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Uwe Rosler, Yaya Toure, Sylvain Distin are some of the most remarkable players that played for the Etihad Stadium outfit. Manchester City have won four Premier League titles and five FA Cup trophies and it has to be noted that they made it to the Champions League semis in the 2015/2016 season.
