Our prediction for this Russia Premier League match:
Buoyed by a hard-fought 1-0 win over Krasnodar, Lokomotiv Moscow will be looking to give fans yet another reason for celebration when they take on Ural at Central Stadium. The capital club aim to keep their 100% record intact, and given their form at the start of the season, it is no surprise they are seen as favourites to win the midweek clash. Defender Boris Rotenberg is sidelined with injury for the visitors, while both Luka Djordjevic and Eder will be assessed ahead of the kick-off.
Ural, on the other hand, head into the game following a 1-1 draw with Rubin Kazan. The hosts are eager to shock the high-flying visitors, but given the amount of confidence in the away team’s dressing room, we do not believe that the underdogs are capable of grabbing something from the match. Goalkeeper Oleg Baklov is rated doubtful for the midweek clash.
