Our prediction for this Russia Premier League match:
Zenit will be looking to keep their 100% record in the 2020/21 season intact when they host Tambov at their Gazprom Arena. The Zenitchiki continue where they left last term, and, no doubt, they are determined to defend their trophy. The league leaders proved their worth in the 2-1 win over CSKA Moscow, and it is no wonder they are seen as hot favourites to win Saturday’s football match.
Tambov, on the other hand, did well to beat Khimki 1-0 at home on Matchday 3, but given their anything but good away record in the Russian top flight, we are positive that the hosts will pick up all three points from the match. Tambov defender Aleksey Gritsaenko is sidelined through suspension, which is yet another reason why we are tempted to put our money on Sergei Semak’s troops. Zenit defender Yaroslav Rakitsky returns from suspension.
