Our prediction for this Serie A match:
After going two games without a triumph, Sassuolo continued their pursuit of a top-six Serie A finish with a magnificent victory over Carpi, which now puts them one point behind Milan in the table. Nicola Sansone netted one and provided two assists, while Defrel secured his top position in the club’s goal scoring chart. I Neroverdi now head back home hoping for their third consecutive win against the Grifone at Mapei Stadium. Genoa hammered Frosinone on home soil, which served as a perfect morale booster after the heavy defeat against Napoli. Suso scored his first hat-trick for Genoa, which now sit in the upper half of the overall standings. Even though Eusebio Di Francesco’s side have been having their ups and downs on home turf of late, Gasperini’s charges should not present much of a threat, bearing in mind their negative run on the road. This could be a close match, but we predict Sassuolo will take all three points.
