Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Estadio Carlos Belmonte will host Sunday’s football game between Albacete and Rayo Vallecano. Albacete have been in a fine form of late, with the team rolling over Sabadell 3-0, while playing out a goalless draw with Mallorca in midweek. Garai’s troops are eyeing their third consecutive clean sheet in La Liga 2, and seeing that Rayo are not regarded as good travellers, a low-scoring affair is on the horizon.
Los Vallecanos managed to keep a clean sheet in the previous two league fixtures as well, and seeing that they are likely to rely on their rock-solid defence in Sunday’s showdown, we are tempted to put our money on under 2.5 goals. You should bear in mind that under 2.5 goals have been netted in each of their previous four meetings in La Liga 2. When the two teams met at Estadio Carlos Belmonte last term, they played out a 1-1 draw.
