Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
All eyes will be on Campo de Futbol de Vallecas when Rayo Vallecano and Malaga take on each other in La Liga 2. Following back-to-back wins over Mallorca and Sabadell, los Vallecanos suffered a heavy 3-0 loss at Ponferradina on Matchday 3. The capital club aim to get back on course as soon as possible, but the game against their old rivals will be anything but a walk in the park for the hosts.
Trejo, who has recovered from coronavirus, is likely to keep his place in the starting line-up for los Vallecanos. Los Boquerones, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back wins over Castellon and Alcorcon. Malaga are eyeing their third consecutive clean sheet in the Segunda Division, and given Rayo’s poor offensive display in the loss to Ponferradina, we believe that there is a big value in betting on under 2.5 goals.
