Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Atalanta will be aiming to kick off the new Serie A campaign in style when they host Frosinone at their Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia on Monday evening. Over the years the Orobici have established themselves as a top-table side in the Italian top flight and it is no surprise they are seen as hot favourites to win the season opener against Frosinone. Atalanta have been scoring goals for fun in the Europa League qualifiers this term and we predict that they are going to prove their worth on the field. Frosinone, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-1 loss to Real Betis in their last warm-up game and, to make things even worse for the fans, they were beaten by Suditrol in their Coppa Italia opener at the weekend. David faces Goliath in Bergamo and, taking everything into account, we do not believe Frosinone are going to spoil Atalanta’s party at Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia.

Highlighted Player (Etrit Berisha):

Etrit Berisha is an Albanian goalkeeper born on 10 March 1989 in Prishtina, and he has become an important player for the Albania national team over the years. After starting his youth career in his native country, Berisha joined Swedish side as a youngster and he quickly managed to prove his worth on senior level, making 90 league appearances and even scoring 3 goals from the penalty spot.
The impressive displays in Swedish Allsvenskan earned him a lucrative move to Lazio in the summer of 2013, and he has since been vying with Federico Marchetti for a starting berth at Stadio Olimpico, making almost 40 league appearances during the first three years at the club. Berisha has also performed well for the Biancocelesti in Coppa Italia and Europa League, while helping Albania qualify for their first ever European Championship finals.
The talented goalkeeper spent every minute on the pitch during team’s successful qualifying campaign, making sure his name will be written in the Albania national team history books.
Highlighted Team (Frosinone):

Back in 1912 Frosinone were founded as Unione Sportiva Frusinate and it has to be noted that the colors of the team were originally red and blue. They were later changed to the current yellow and blue and the Canarini have been wearing those kits ever since. Frosinone made their first ever appearance in the Serie A in the 2015/2016 season, but they failed to secure the promotion.
The Canarini finished the season in 19th place in the standings, eight points behind Udinese, who eventually avoided relegation to Serie B. However, two years later Frosinone returned to the Italian top flight as they defeated Palermo 3-2 on aggregate in the play-offs final.
The club play their home games at Stadio Benito Stirpe, the stadium that was opened in 2017. The venue can hold 16,227 spectators and it is owned by the Municipality of Frosinone. The construction cost €20 million.
