Our football match prediction:
Sunday’s football match at Stadio Renato Dall’Ara pits together Bologna and Cagliari, the two teams who are eager to secure the top flight survival. Bologna did well to beat Crotone in front of home fans in the opening match of the season, but they were hammered by Torino on Matchday 2 (1-5). The Rossoblu are desperate to bounce back from the embarrassing defeat and, no doubt, the hosts will leave their hearts on the field in Sunday’s clash against Cagliari. Massimo Rastelli’s charges are eyeing their first win of the season, but they would be happy with one point from the match as well. Cagliari often struggle on the travels, though, and that is the main reason why we predict Bologna are going to pick up all three points from the match. Czech Republic international Ladislav Krejci will be the man to watch in the home team.
Highlighted Player (Erick Pulgar):
Erick Pulgar is a Chilean international who started his senior career at Deportes Antofagasta. Pulgar is a 186-cm-tall midfielder, who is capable of playing as a centre back as well and he is well known for his speed. After making 38 league appearances for the club he joined fellow Chilean outfit Universidad Catolica in 2014. The deal was confirmed on 28 June, 2014 and the Chilean defender joined los Cruzados for a fee of $ 500 000. In 2015 he decided to move to Europe and he signed a contract with Bologna for an undisclosed fee. The deal was sealed on 20 August. Erick Pulgar represented Chile at the 2016 Copa America, but he made no more than one appearance for La Roja at the tournament in USA. He came on as a substitute to replace injured midfielder Pablo Hernandez in a 2-0 win over Colombia. It is well known that Chile won the 2016 Copa America, beating star-studded Argentina in the title game.

Highlighted Team (Cagliari):

Cagliari are a professional football club based in Cagliari, Sardinia. I Rossoblu (The Red and Blues) compete in Italian Serie A and the club’s biggest success came in 1970, when they won the national championship. Cagliari finished the season in top position in the standings, four points clear of Juventus and it has to be noted that Luigi Riva led Cagliari to their first Serie A trophy. I Rossoblu welcome their rivals at Stadio Sant’Elia and the capacity of the stadium is 16,000. In the 1993/1994 season Cagliari made it to the UEFA Cup semis, with the team suffering a loss to fellow Italian club Inter in the two-legged tie. Giuseppe Pancaro helped Cagliari record a 3-2 win over Inter in the first leg, but I Rossoblu were hammered by the Nerazzurri in the second leg (3-0). Palermo are regarded as Cagliari’s main rivals and the two teams square off against each other in the Derby delle Isole.
