Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Cagliari have been experiencing all sorts of problems at the back of late. Following a 5-3 loss to Fiorentina, the Rossoblu suffered a 4-1 defeat to Lazio at Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday evening and, no doubt, they head into the game against Palermo with the lack of confidence. Cagliari aim to move away from the danger zone in the Serie A standings and we predict that they will adopt an attack-minded approach in Monday’s football match against Palermo. The Rosanero are on a three-game losing run in the Italian top flight and you should bear in mind that they conceded 11 goals in previous three league fixtures. Both Cagliari and Palermo struggle at the back and we predict that both teams will fail to keep a clean sheet on Matchday 11. It has to be noted that 18 goals have been netted in previous six meetings between the two teams in the Serie A. Cagliari recorded their last win over Palermo back in 2012.
